Selection Criteria

We take previous applications into account when selecting exhibitors so you'll have more of a chance next year if you want to apply again. The other factors we take into account when deciding who to accept are as follows:

  • Product attractiveness and usefulness - because we like our visitors to have an amazing experience browsing the stalls and taking big bags of goodies home with them!
  • Product type - because we don't want too many stalls selling the same product (e.g. we're careful not to overwhelm the show with too many stalls selling hand dyed yarn)
  • Uniqueness and diversity - because we like stalls that represent different types of people, different styles and different influences
  • Size of stall - because we need a good balance of smaller stalls, medium-sized stalls and larger stalls
  • Product prices - because we like our visitors to have a good mix of luxury items and less expensive items
  • Social media promotion - because we like exhibitors who can promote the show to their online followers and so attract visitors to the event
  • Interest in distributing lots of leaflets - because we like exhibitors who can promote the show by sending out leaflets in packages and distributing them at other events
  • Public Liability Insurance (PLI) - you must have a PLI certificate that is valid for the dates of the event
