🟢 The opening times are 10am to 4pm on both days.

Entrance Prices
Prices for our 2026 event are:
🟢 £9 for an all-day ticket
🟢 £12 for a Weekend ticket
🟢 £4 for a "Quiet Time" ticket, for entry after 2pm, and usable on both days
🟢 On-the-door price = £10
🟢 Under 16s enter for free (and don't need a ticket)
🟢 A carer helping a visitor enters for free (and doesn't need a ticket)

Looking, Buying and Being Inspired
We have loads of brilliant things for you to see, buy and do, including 80 wonderful exhibitors covering knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, felting and dyeing. Please visit our EXHIBITORS LIST page to see who'll be with us at our upcoming event in August 2026. We'll also have guilds and associations who can give you loads of advice and demonstrate crafts you may not have tried before.

Travel, Parking and Accessibility
Newbury Racecourse is about 1 mile east of Newbury town centre and is easy to get to by car and by public transport. It even has its own bus stop and train station! ... both of which are just a few minutes walk from our show. If you're driving, please use RG14 7PN. There's free parking for hundreds of cars just next to the entrance to our show. For more travel advice and maps, please go to our TRAVEL page. For people with disabilities, there's a Disabled parking zone and there's full access within the venue.
Venue
Newbury Racecourse is a superb setting for our show which takes place in two large indoor buildings: the Dubai Duty Free Grandstand and the Berkshire Stand.
Food and Drink
We have 2 cafés, a coffee bar, 2 food vans and a coffee van. The cafés are located on the 1st floors of the Grandstand and the Berkshire Stand. The coffee bar is on the ground floor of the Berkshire Stand. There are lifts and staircases to the cafés and plenty of seating are on the first floors. If it's a nice day, you can take your food and drink outside and sit at one of the many picnic benches.

🟢 Coffee and donuts (from food van)

Free Show Booklet
Everyone coming to our event will receive a free show booklet when they arrive giving lots of information, such as floorplans and A-Z of exhibitors, as well as information on workshops, catering, etc.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to buy a ticket? You can buy a ticket in advance or you can pay on the door. If you pay on the door, the price is £10. Tickets in advance are cheaper than paying on the door and can be bought from our TICKETS PAGE.
Does my child need a ticket? All children under 16 can enter the show free of charge and don't need a ticket.
Does my carer need a ticket? If you're a visitor who needs a carer to help you around the event, then your carer can enter the show free of charge and doesn't need a ticket. Simply explain when you arrive that the person with you is your carer.
Are dogs allowed? Dogs are not allowed into the event unless they are Guide Dogs or Medical Assistance dogs.
Do I need to bring cash? Almost all the stalls take card payments but a small number do not. The cafes, coffee shop and coffee vans only accept card payments. There are cash machines available but there's a charge for using them.
How do I get to the show using public transport? Newbury Racecourse has its own bus stop and train station. Both are just a few minutes walk from our show. For advice on travelling by public transport, there's plenty of information on our
TRAVEL page.
Is there a limit on how long I can stay at the show? You can stay as long as you like at the show, but please make sure you leave by closing time at 4pm. If you have an afternoon ticket, please arrive at midday or later.
I'm having trouble paying online for a ticket, what do I do? Please contact Nick using the details on our
CONTACT page and he'll sort things out.
Is all the yarn expensive? No, not all the yarn is expensive. There'll be a huge range of yarn from inexpensive to luxury. Stalls selling inexpensive yarn include exhibitors such as Riverside Knitting Wools, Knit One Kits and Happy Crochet Time.
Is there disabled access? Yes, the show is completely accessible by wheelchair. There are disabled toilets and a disabled parking zone.
Is it a long walk from the car park? There's a very large car park which is just a few minutes walk from our show. Parking is free and marshals will be there to show you where to go when you arrive. There's a disabled parking area very close to the entrance to our show.
Is there food? There are 2 cafes each having a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks. One cafe is on the 1st floor of the Grandstand and the other is on the 1st floor of the Berkshire Stand. Both food courts have access from the ground floor by lifts and stairs. There's also a coffee shop on the groundfloor of the Berkshire Stand, and there'll be 2 coffee vans.
Can I leave and return? Yes, you can leave the show and return later on the same day. When you first arrive, you'll get a free Show Guide booklet. If you leave the show and want to retunr, simply show your booklet.
Are there plenty of seats? Yes, there's plenty of seating in the 2 cafes. If the weather is fine, there's also lots of seating outside including benches and picnic tables.
Can I stay overnight in a campervan? Yes, you can stay in a campervan overnight at the racecourse. But there are no amenities and please be quiet because there are residential properties close by.
